On the eve of Black Friday, Virgin Australia has launched its Black Friday, Bright Holidays sale extravaganza, with a whopping 500,000 domestic and international fares on sale from as low as $55 one-way*.
Whether travellers are daydreaming of destinations in Australia or abroad, there’s a fare and seat to suit all, with sensational deals on offer to destinations, including Queenstown, Bali, Cairns, the Gold Coast and Hamilton Island, to name a few.
The Black Friday, Bright Holidays sale is live now until midnight Tuesday 29 November 2022, unless sold out prior, with travel available on select dates and destinations from January 2023 until June 2023. All sale fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points earn and Status Credits.

Myer Black Friday Deals using Points + Pay and Velocity e-Store Bonus Points
Flights aren’t the only exceptional bargains on offer this Black Friday, with Velocity Frequent Flyer members able to use their Points to pay for part – or all of their purchase – on a range of significantly discounted home goods with Myer. The discounts include significant savings on the Velocity Points required to purchase an item.
Members can also grab some great deals while maximising their Points earnings on the Velocity e-Store, with bonus Points available on eligible items, from now until 15 December 2022**.

Commentary
Virgin Australia Group Chief Commercial Officer, Dave Emerson said the Black Friday sale is a wonderful opportunity for customers to lock in great value fares for travel in 2023.
“We have over half a million Black Friday fares on sale from as low as $55, representing a wonderful opportunity for Australian travellers to lock in a great value fare now, for travel next year,” said Mr Emerson.
“This is one of the busiest periods for air travel in our history, and with demand so high until the end of the year, we are encouraging customers to plan ahead in 2023, to get the best value when booking a flight. Our Black Friday sale is a great way to do just that.
“We expect the sale fares to sell fast, so we are recommending customers to get in quickly,” he said.
