Boston skyline from the Atlantic OceanThe Boston skyline just got a significant upgrade. The newly minted observation deck, View Boston, atop the illustrious Prudential Tower, has officially joined the Boston CityPASS ticket program. This three-tiered sightseeing spectacle at one of New England’s tallest buildings provides breathtaking 360-degree views of Boston’s historic landscape, from the legendary Fenway Park to the bustling runways of Logan Airport, extending to the scenic Back Bay and beyond.

Spanning a development timeline of over three years, the dedicated team behind View Boston has meticulously incorporated state-of-the-art technology into the platform, from Virtual Viewers that grant access into the heart of Boston’s cultural neighbourhoods to the innovative ViewPrint system that allows guests to build a personalized itinerary of their Boston trip. The ViewPrint technology, available throughout the tour, includes over 350 sites of interest. Before ending their tour at the Finale room, visitors can scan their ticket, enter an email address, and receive a comprehensive itinerary with tailored sightseeing suggestions, practical tips, and a navigable map.

Perched on the 52nd floor, the View provides an elevated platform, The Lookout, with a striking view of Boston. This floor also features metallic replicas of iconic Boston landmarks, designed in collaboration with Perkins School for the Blind, allowing visually impaired visitors to experience and feel the grandeur of Boston’s architecture.

Adding to the allure is the 51st floor, The Cloud Terrace. Visitors can enjoy an open-air terrace view, complemented by the chic indoor/outdoor cocktail lounge, Stratus, serving seasonal beverages and small plates. This offers a tranquil setting for a light lunch or sunset cocktail while soaking in the unparalleled city views.

The tour culminates on the 50th floor, aptly named ‘The City’. This floor celebrates Boston’s spirit, featuring Boston 365, an awe-inspiring 3D model of the city using projection-mapping lighting to transition between seasons and time of day seamlessly. It also houses Open Doors, a 270-degree immersive theatre screen showcasing a detailed exploration of various neighbourhoods and an insider’s view into Boston’s most adored landmarks, including Fenway Park.

The Boston CityPASS has bundled the View Boston experience with discounted, prepaid admission to Boston’s top attractions in one easy-to-use mobile ticket. With this, visitors can save up to 45% on admission to:
