Spread the love

The project: energetic and spiritual places on the Ritten.

“In recent years, we have intensively studied the special nature that surrounds us. And we did this from different perspectives”, Manuela and Klaus Pichler describe their approach. They were surprised that so little attention had been paid to the Celtic settlements on the Ritten. Through their collaboration with spa consultant Dagmar Rizzato and her husband, geomancer Bernd Traber, they also learned to perceive nature in a completely new and exciting way.

Geomancy is the holistic recording of a place’s energetic identity with a grid system’s help. One can experience vibrational energy measured in Bovis Units (BE) within this grid structure. A place of power with 10,000 BE is well above the average of 6,500 BE.

Bernd Traber, who helped the Pichlers identify and evaluate the energetic sites, is a geomancer and a civil engineer. An interview with him about the discrepancy between geomancy and engineering is also included in the booklet.

An invitation to the guests

The booklet should encourage people to get involved with nature. Therefore, in addition to the information and historical background of the power places, there is always an appropriate meditation suggestion. Depending on the location, this can be opening, energizing or grounding. The Pichlers also recommend an appropriate spa treatment to complement the meditation upon returning to the hotel.

«For the duration of their stay – and maybe even beyond! – we want our guests to not only grasp the landscape around the Weihrerhof in a very pragmatic way, but also to experience it personally and emotionally.»

Environmental awareness in the hotel room

The love of nature is reflected in the new Energetic Places project and throughout the hotel. For example, when renovating the Windspiel rooms (the Roarer Windspiel is also one of the Energetic Places featured in the booklet), the owner’s family followed the Cradle to Cradle® principle. The all-wood furniture was refinished, the upholstery was reupholstered, and the hardware was reclaimed. The mattresses are also recyclable and made from recycled materials and wool from the Vilnöss spectacled sheep. Climate neutrality, recyclability, decarbonization and high social standards were the focus for all raw materials and products.
