Spread the love

Congratulations: Our Green PearlsⓇ partner, the APIRURA hotel rinner on the Ritten in South Tyrol, Italy, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. From March to November 2023, guests can expect attractive anniversary specials about the hotel and the bee. This sustainable hotel’s unique features are the in-house organic beekeeping and API wellness with beehive air.

APIPURA Hotel rinner anniversary offers.

Monthly excursion with beekeeper Paul Rinner.

Guests can book a monthly excursion with the beekeeper, host Paul Rinner, and junior manager Manfred Rinner from May to October. The tour includes visiting the apiaries, the farm, and the hotel’s fields. The day will conclude with the tasting of the products of the estate.
Wellness Special: Meditative sounds and honey massages

At the APIPURA Hotel Rinner, a special Apitherapy is used. (The word comes from the Latin word “Apis” = bee). Participants inhale beehive air through unique masks during the program for 30 minutes. In addition to honey, the beehive contains wax, pollen, propolis, royal jelly and other health-promoting products.

New: Especially for the anniversary special, the ApiWellness is combined with meditative sounds from the beehive.

An entire week of ApiWellness and theme evenings will be dedicated to Api Therapy in October. The week includes seven nights, including breakfast (with a large variety of organic honey). The menu consists of 4 to 5 courses from the regional natural cuisine.

Due to its antibacterial properties, honey also has a positive effect on the appearance of the skin. It is often used for beauty treatments (even Cleopatra is said to have used honey as a facial and bath additive). During a honey massage at the APIPURA Hotel rinner, the hotel’s organic honey is massaged deep into the skin.

Special moments for two

For couples, there is a special offer for togetherness. On request, the roof terrace with XL Jacuzzi can be booked for a private evening or morning. So, you can enjoy a private APIPURA breakfast or an exclusive evening with your loved one.

Another reason to celebrate: is the recovery of the bee population.

The 50th anniversary is not the only reason for the bee-loving APIPURA team to celebrate. The worldwide bee population has increased after a drastic decline at the turn of the millennium, as current statistics show. In 2006, what became known as the “Colony Collapse Disorder” was a wake-up call to the world’s population as entire colonies died off around the world (especially in the United States). As it turned out: The increased attention had a positive effect. According to the German Federal Statistical Office, “Worldwide, beekeeping, and apiculture have increased significantly in recent decades.”

Bees play a central role in our ecosystem as pollinators. They ensure that hundreds of thousands of different plant species can flourish. These, in turn, provide food for countless animal species.

PS: May 20, 2023, will be World Bee Day. (The day was initiated by the United Nations in 2018.) What better way to celebrate than by staying at the APIPURA Hotel rinner? Here you can learn all about this beneficial insect.
