Naumi Hotel Wellington, situated in the eclectic and charismatic Wellington precinct of Cuba Street, has just opened its doors to guests.

The hotel comprises 62 spacious rooms, evoking the sense of a home away from home so guests can rest comfortably. Bold palettes and designs reflect the essence of Naumi – a kaleidoscope of accents, expertly refined. With a familiar atmosphere, the new hotel tower borders Naumi Studio Wellington and shares common spaces.

At MEETINGS 2023 in Wellington, Rachael Findlay, Naumi Hotel’s head of sales in Australia and New Zealand (who is based at Naumi Auckland Airport Hotel), described the new Wellington property hotel and outlined the philosophy of the boutique hospitality group behind it.

Naumi prides itself on being synonymous with whimsical spaces, imaginative micro-experiences, bespoke services and prime locality.

To complement Naumi Hotel Wellington’s elevation, its on-site conference space has been revitalised to reflect the spirit of Wellington – vibrant, trendsetting and eclectic.

The conference space hosts up to 250 delegates, complete with bold new carpet and paint, intelligent lighting and ultra-fast Wi-Fi, suitable for hybrid meetings. The room splits into five separate areas with the addition of a private boardroom that seats 20.

Other spaces and places include the in-house restaurant Lola Rouge. A favourite with locals, Lola Rouge, is perfect for entertaining groups or private dining in The Red Room.

The menu, which celebrates South East Asia, is meticulously crafted by award-winning executive chef Kiran Ghate, who combines a stunning range of local ingredients, colour, flavour and texture to reflect the Asian influences of Lola Rouge.

Unwind at Lola Rouge’s Grand Bar – a cosy, sumptuous space to sip a drink under the dim flicker of elegant lighting — merging old-world glamour with new-world romanticism. The extensive drinks menu features creative cocktails, boutique wines and local craft beers. Post up in The Parlour, a pastel-hued dreamscape inspired by light-filled Parisian conservatories: a space to enjoy High Tea and cocktails. Perfect for pre or post-conference gatherings.

Naumi Hotels is an asset owner and boutique hospitality group founded in 2007. The company’s chairman, Surya Jhunjhnuwala, established Singapore’s first hotel property. It has since expanded to Australia and New Zealand.
