To support government policies to contribute to the expansion of the international tourism market, the Company is participating in the promotional Experience Macao Unlimited – Macao Promotion in Lisbon event hosted by the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) — introducing Macau’s innovative and diversified entertainment and leisure experiences to locals while attracting more overseas visitors to the city to help the recovery of the tourism-related economy.

The event is being held at the landmark Praça do Comércio in Lisbon, Portugal from April 15 to 22. Melco showcased the Company’s various innovative tourism offerings and experiences to locals and tourists at its specially designed booths, including its flagship art and design hotel, Morpheus at City of Dreams as designed by the late architect Dame Zaha Hadid, the newly-opened Epic Tower at Studio City, Macau’s first ever all-weather waterpark, Forbes Travel Guide’s five-star award winner for 14 consecutive years, Altira Spa at Altira Macau, as well as a number of its star-rated restaurants. The Company also distributed a series of exclusive hotel packages and exquisite gifts during the event, attracting locals to visit and experience the wonderful entertainment and leisure experiences on offer in Macau.

Mr. Lawrence Ho, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Melco, said: “Melco is honored to participate in Experience Macao Unlimited – Macao Exhibition in Lisbon, and to work with the SAR government and the industry to promote the diverse tourism industry of Macau while showcasing the city’s unique charms. Melco will stay true to its commitments and extend our full support the SAR government in developing tourism from overseas. By presenting more exciting and innovative entertainment experiences, we will promote the diversified development of Macau’s economy and deepen the cross-sectoral integration of ‘Tourism +’ while contributing to the city’s position as a world center of tourism and leisure.”
