New research from holidaycottages.co.uk has looked into the ideal holiday destinations for the most common Myers Briggs personality types
Working with Psychologist and Consultant, Giulia Bianchi, it was found that those with the ‘architect’ personality type should visit Oxford, while ‘mediators’ should vacation in St Ives
Searches for “staycation breaks” have seen a 306% increase1 in the last 12 months as Brits look to holiday closer to home this year.
With this in mind, holidaycottages.co.uk has worked with psychologist Giulia Bianchi to reveal the type of holiday some of the most popular Myers Briggs personality types enjoy the most – allowing travellers to explore places that best suit their interests.
1. Personality type: The Architect (INTJ – introverted, intuitive, thinking and judging).

Architects thrive on exploring intellectually stimulating environments. A trip to historic and culturally rich destinations would be particularly satisfying. These cities will provide the Architects with opportunities to contemplate humanity’s grand ideas and inventions.
