The upcoming establishment, named Taj Ganga Kutir Resort & Spa, reaffirms IHCL’s commitment to enhancing West Bengal’s thriving commercial and tourism landscape.

In a recent statement, Puneet Chhatwal, IHCL’s Managing Director and CEO expressed his optimism about the region’s potential. Known as the gateway to North East India, West Bengal’s thriving commercial and tourism sectors make it an attractive investment opportunity. “The introduction of Taj Ganga Kutir Resort & Spa at Raichak will extend our presence in the state, complementing our existing hotels in Kolkata and Darjeeling,” Chhatwal said.

This venture is the seventh collaborative project between IHCL and the esteemed Ambuja Neotia Group, thus fortifying their long-standing association. The link between the two companies can be traced back to their shared commitment to setting pioneering standards in the Indian hospitality industry.

Nestled on the scenic banks of the Ganges River, Taj Ganga Kutir Resort & Spa promises an idyllic blend of luxury and comfort with its 155 meticulously designed rooms. Guests can choose from an array of dining experiences, featuring an all-day diner, specialty restaurants serving Oriental and Bengali cuisines, and lounge and library bars offering a sophisticated range of handcrafted beverages.

The expansive resort also boasts an impressive 70,000 sq ft of banqueting space, including vast riverside lawns perfect for hosting conferences or elegant social events.
